Getting There

The most convenient way to get to Valiyaparamba is from Bekal situated a few kilometres away. It takes about an hour to get Valiyaparamba from Bekal. The major railheads close to Bekal are Kanhangod and Kasargod situated at distances of 16kms and 14 kms respectively. Both the stations are well connected by trains from Chennai and Pune.

The nearest international and domestic airports are Kozhikode and Mangalore respectively. KSRTC buses regularly ply from Kanhangod and Kasargod towns.

Best Time to Visit

Valiyaparamba is hot and sultry during the summers but winters are cool and pleasant. However, the entire area experiences heavy rains during the monsoons. If you want to get the best out of your sightseeing tours, then plan a post wedding trip between October and March.
